Manhattan Beach Studio Rental

I am officially opening up my Manhattan Beach studio for hourly and daily rentals to select small business owners and photographers! It's a bright white space with unique details and lighting equipment perfect for creating beautiful blog posts. It is also a great place for creative professionals to meet potential clients for a cup of coffee that is private as opposed to hopping all around town with your laptop meeting clients at Starbucks (trust me, I did that....this makes a much better impression on your clients!)

Today I am hosting the lovely Gabby Norton, owner of 'Cause We Can Events, and her intern Lauren as they crafted away to create content for blog posts!

Nicol Family: Palos Verdes

One of my very favorite families in the South Bay to photograph as they grow! Kim is the genius behind Nicol Artistry and does the make-up for almost every bride I photograph now! Just look at how fun and adorable this family is...

We're engaged!!

Christmas Eve, 2014 // my best friend asked if I would spend my life with him. NO BRAINER.
(Then the very next day he whisked me off to Paris for a week of celebrating our engagement - just the two of us in the most romantic city in the world!)

Read the full post if you want to hear my gushy (LONG) description of how we met and got engaged and for more of the wonderful photos captured by the one and only DanFredo Photos + Films.

BRIDES Magazine feature: October 2014

Six years ago in NYC (before I shot my first wedding), I was an intern at Condé Nast Publications in the photo department of Vanity Fair. One of my more mindless tasks was to pack up and send completed issues to that month's contributing photographers. While I was sealing envelopes, I would day dream about one day seeing my photography in one of their publications... Today, that came true!!

I yanked this bad boy (okay, maybe 6 or so copies) off the news stand because my photo of the beautiful Jessica dancing her tush off at her Smog Shoppe wedding reception in custom high top sneaks was featured in the "Ultimate Guide to Music" section of the 80th Anniversary issue!
I am so honored and grateful! This one is definitely getting framed! Check out the rest of their amazing wedding featured on Brides.com!
